The Sounds of Mother Earth

The ancient people of Australia, the
Aborigines, have known for 40,000 years what the United States is just about to
discover - the incredible soothing vibrations associated with the Yidaki, one
of the oldest wind instruments in the world, or better known internationally as
the Didgeridoo.
“Cherish the sound. For it is the sound of mother earth,” says Mandawuy
Yunupingu, lead singer of comtemporary Australian rock band, Yothu Yindi.
Pablo, a 44-year-old Argentine, has spent the last couple of years in
“I want to bring to the other side of the world the
clear and unpolluted energy and vibrations that exist in Australia and what
better healing tools to do that than using the natural resources of the land”
says Pablo.
This in turn compliments the Reiki training Pablo
received during his pilgrimage in
As the son of a United Nations Consultant, Pablo
spent his younger years living in many different countries where he was able to
observe diverse cultures and traditions. His fascination with the indigenous
tribes eventually led him to
The Yidaki, a hollow branch made from Eucalyptus trees, is thought to be one of
the first instruments ever made. It produces a low frequency sound, which
positively affects the human tissue and thus makes it an effective stimulating
tool.
“A harmonious sound projected at a person who is in a state of disharmony will
eventually bring them into resonance with the harmonious sound. Our atoms,
molecules, cells, glands and organs all have a vibrational frequency” says
Simon Heather, author of The Healing Power of Sound.
Due to daily stress produced for any number of reasons, the body reacts by
blocking the natural flow of energy. By projecting a harmonious sound on the
affected area, the blockage starts to dissolve and the body begins to restore.
This was first discovered in the 17th century through the scientific principles
of entrainment, a synchronization of two or more rhythmic cycles.
Pablo uses a non-invasive technique where he plays intuitively by scanning the
body for affected areas. Once the region is detected, he applies Reiki and then
administers the Australian Bush Flower Essences which is
another form of vibrational healing. At the end of the session, the client
receives their own Essences to take daily.
People from
all walks of life have benefited by this form of treatment ranging from global
marketing directors to film and sporting professionals.
Plans are already underway to open a center in
“Los Angeles is the first step and after that, I want to take this service to
every corner of the US,” says Pablo.
It seems like the oldest tradition is now becoming the newest trend.
